WHAT YOU CAN DO TO HELP THE KOREAN DOGS
DONATIONS, FLIGHT COSTS & FEES
Your donations go towards rescues, looking after the dogs in the shelter, vet bills for medical treatments vaccinations and spaying/neutering, shelter maintenance/repairs, staff’s wages, transporting the dogs, heating (during winter time), dog foods, treats and so many other bills. We post breakdown of each month donations on monthly basis from our accountant. Thank you for your generosity!
FOR DONATIONS BY US CITIZENS
SAVE KOREAN DOGS USA FOUNDATION, INC. is an official 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization registered in the United States. Donations are a tax-deductible gift, TAX ID # 83-3653519.
Contribution statements have been sent via email to everyone who donated directly to Save Korean Dogs USA Foundation in 2020. If we do not have an email address for you on file, your statement will arrive in the mail.
Despite COVID-19, we saw an increase in donations and several new donors last year. That’s a successful result of our various outreach and fundraising efforts, as well as, all of you sharing the SKD story.
Whether it’s $5 or $5,000, it all helps achieve our mission. We are grateful. The dogs are grateful.
Some housekeeping notes:
- if you donated through a Facebook fundraiser (such as for birthdays and the $6 Saturdays) or a GoFundMe fundraiser, those donations are processed and paid out through third party companies. We receive lump sum payments. We do not receive a list of donors and their contribution amounts. The email you received when donating serves as your receipt for tax purposes.
- the Name Game is managed by Willow’s Wish. Funds are paid directly to the sanctuary by Willow’s Wish. The Name Game is a raffle and, therefore, not tax deductible.

SAVE KOREAN DOGS USA FOUNDATION is now able to accept donations via credit card!
Many of you have asked if you could contribute using a credit card, and we are excited to announce we can now make that happen! SKD USA can accept donations using all major credit cards – including MasterCard, VISA, Discover, and yes, even American Express. We can also schedule recurring payments for your convenience.
Whenever you would like to make a contribution using a credit card, please send an email to: Heidi@savekoreandogs.org. In your email, send your phone number so I may call you and process the transaction with you over the phone. You will receive a receipt for your donation.
NOTE: adoption fees cannot be paid using a credit card and must be paid directly to the Sanctuary using PayPal.

"This is newly built office 100 meters away from the shelter. It used to be a dog park donated by my mom. I am making 18 kennels here, it's almost completed while I am waiting for the doors to arrive and dog houses needed here.

Consistency is often referred to as someone's "bread and butter". In this case, recurring donations are "dog food and vet bills". Recurring contributions make supporting our canine survivors simple and easy. You can schedule recurring payments using PayPal or Zelle (bank-to-bank free transfer). The attached images will help guide you with setting up those consistent donations.
If choosing PayPal, simply go to the donation page on the Save Korean Dogs website and click the yellow donate button under the SKD USA logo. That will take you to the PayPal page where you can check the box to make it a monthly donation. Two steps and you're done!
